This 1979 Peavey T-40 is shinning example of an affordable, vintage, made-in-USA bass guitar. Equipped with two “Toaster” humbucking pickups, the T-40 expands its sonic capabilities with a three-way pickup selector, a phase switch for the middle position and a unique dual/single coil design that lets players blend between dual or single coil options of each pickups using the two tone knobs.
This bass is in excellent condition, it was kept for the last ten years as a studio instrument and features nearly any blemishing. The bridge has some light patina and aging and there are some grooves and wear around the first fret on the neck and headstock that do not affect playability. It also comes with its original hard-shell “chainsaw” case with very clean interior.
