Anchored by the renowned MN3207 chip, The Fates delivers that quintessential BBD Analog Chorus shimmer reminiscent of the 80s. True to the Mythos tradition of innovation, The Fates isn’t just a reiteration but an evolution. With precision-engineered Rate and Depth controls, it offers a rich tapestry of musical modulation, from subtle ambience to pronounced swirls.
Refusing to rest on their laurels with “just” another chorus, Mythos has also added in a Vibrato mode, expertly crafted to eschew the typical clean mix of traditional chorus. Mythos goes a step further, refining this mode to ensure the vibrato is free from excessive warble. In both Chorus and Vibrato modes, anticipate a spectrum of effects ranging from a delicate twinkle to the throbbing pulse of a rotary speaker.
Equipped with a JFET buffered bypass/input stage, The Fates ensures minimal noise interference while fortifying the signal. This JFET integration promises a subtle output lift and an EQ profile that’s a match made in heaven for both crystalline cleans and gritty overdrives. Aesthetically, the pedal boasts a Rate LED that visually syncs with its Rate setting, making adjustments a breeze.
