The second incarnation of the Reverend Mike Watt Wattplower bass builds on the original version with new finishes and even more tonal possibilities. Center stage is the triple P-Blade pickup stacked across the bridge and middle positions. 3-Way selector all the way down and you have the lower 2 blades engaged for that high end bridge pickup sound. Middle position is the upper two blades for a warmer, middle pickup sound. Flip it up to position 3 to engage the Rio Grande Pitbull in the neck. The body is solid Korina, while the neck is a 3-piece Korina setup, topped with a Rosewood fingerboard. The 30” scale with a medium oval neck profile makes for fast and comfortable playing. Note the Anchor inlay in the first fret and the “Wattplower” inlay up at the 19th. String through or top load, your choice as the Hipshot A-Style Bridge does both. Hipshot Ultralight tuners keep it in check. The Root Beer Sparkle finish is not for the faint of heart with big chunky metal flake in browns and golds. Headstock is matching in the same finish.
Reverend Teardrop hardshell case included.
