Kramer’s The 84 electric guitar is a nod to one of the most influential solidbody electric guitars of all time, Eddie Van Halen’s Kramer 5150 and its highly recognizable red, white, and black striped paint job. The 84 belongs to the “Kramer Icon Collection”, a series with the goal of honoring Kramer’s first golden age of guitars with modern releases.
At the heart of this shred machine lies a lightweight alder body exhibiting a balanced tone, ready for high-gain applications. With tremolo-induced single-note use in-mind, The 84 is equipped with the gold-standard, a Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking tremolo and tailpiece with a locking nut. Whether you use the Floyd Rose bridge for massive dive-bombs or subtle vibratos, it’s difficult to knock this guitar out of tune.
Moving up, The 84 features a hard maple neck and fingerboard for easy navigation up and down the 22 medium jumbo frets. The K-speed SlimTaper “C” neck profile is partnered with a 12” fingerboard radius to make lightning-fast runs a breeze.
The 84 sports a zebra-colored Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge, giving you ample output without sacrificing tone or adding extra noise. This solo scorcher heats up quickly, adding plenty of distortion to your playing. Completing the simple setup, The 84 includes only a single master volume control with a push-pull function for a series parallel tap.
This guitar comes with chrome-finished hardware and a banana-style matching headstock to complement its Blue Metallic, gloss finish.
